Employer of National Service

Employers for National Service

In recognition of the unique and transferable skills that AmeriCorps members develop during a term of service, Employers of National Service builds a talent pipeline to connect AmeriCorps and Peace Corps alumni with employers from every sector to create recruitment, hiring, and advancement opportunities. Through this initiative, employers have access to a pool of dedicated, highly qualified, and mission‐oriented talent, and national service alumni have opportunities to translate their skills in the workplace.

Schools for National Service

Schools of National Service recognize that individuals who serve in AmeriCorps bring tremendous value to higher education and other post-secondary experiences. Schools that are part of Schools for National Service offer scholarships, application fee waivers, and other benefits to AmeriCorps alums.

Segal AmeriCorps Education Award

AmeriCorps alums that successfully complete an AmeriCorps term of service are eligible to receive the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. You can use the award to repay qualified student loans and to pay current educational expenses at eligible institutions of higher education and training programs.
