Katelyn Lowrey (she/her/hers) serves as the Director of Consulting, Learning and Leadership at Mission Capital where she oversees the consulting and training services departments. Her core areas of focus are within nonprofits strategic planning, governance, leadership transitions and collaborations. Prior to joining Mission Capital in 2015, she served as a Program Associate for the Communities Foundation of Texas and a high school English teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, NC.Katelyn earned a master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s in Science from Indiana University Bloomington in Human Development & Family Studies with minors in Psychology and Sociology. She serves as secretary and governance chair for Austin Partners in Education.
