SUMMARY:The Power of Adaptability and Feedback
DESCRIPTION:Giving and receiving effective feedback is a cornerstone of leveraging self-awareness\, self-management\, individual/team performance\, and leadership potential. The content in this workshop creates value that goes well beyond the workplace.\nWho Should Attend: This course is suitable for staff at all levels\, new learners\, and those who may want to revisit previous learning.\nPre-work or Assessment: Complete the DiSC Assessment\nNOTE: Registration closes 3 weeks in advance of class to allow participants to complete the assessment\nInvestment for this class: $155\nRegister Now

SUMMARY:North Texas Giving Day 2026
DESCRIPTION:North Texas Giving Day is Communities Foundation of Texas’ largest community initiative\, and the largest community-wide giving event in the Nation.  \nIn 2025\, more than 100\,000 North Texans gave $78 million to over 3\,500 local nonprofits\, representing causes from education\, health\, and social services\, to arts\, the environment\, and animal welfare. The total raised since North Texas Giving Day’s inception is now $712 million\, cementing the community’s long-standing dedication to making a difference in support of thousands of nonprofits across the region. \nNow in its 18th year\, NorthTexasGivingDay.org continues to expand as a one-stop shop for supporting our local community every day of the year through cause campaigns\, matching fundraisers\, corporate and group giving events\, and nonprofit-led fundraising efforts. \nThanks to help from generous givers and sponsors\, Communities Foundation of Texas covers all transaction and technology fees\, ensuring 100% of each donation made on the site goes to nonprofits in more than 25 cause areas across 20 North Texas counties\, all year long.

SUMMARY:Before the AI Policy: Decisions Every Mission-Driven Leader Needs to Make
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is no longer a future conversation–it’s already reshaping how organizations communicate\, make decisions\, engage stakeholders\, and deliver on their missions. Yet many nonprofit leaders are being asked to respond to AI before they’ve had the time\, space\, or guidance to think strategically about what responsible adoption actually requires. \nThe challenge is bigger than drafting a policy. Nonprofit leaders must now navigate complex questions around organizational readiness\, staff use\, communications\, equity\, risk\, data practices\, governance\, and culture–all while balancing limited capacity and rapidly evolving technology. Questions like: \n\nWho in our organization is already using AI–and do we actually know how?\nWhat happens to our data when a staff member pastes it into a chatbot–and who is accountable if it leaks?\nAre we adopting AI in a way that’s durable and portable\, or locking ourselves into a single vendor?\nWhat is our honest answer when a funder\, board member\, client\, or community partner asks how we use AI?\nWhat is our response if a staff member asks whether they can opt out of using AI tools?\n\nDon’t navigate these questions alone. Join Joshua Peskay\, Co-Founder of Meet the Moment\, for a practical and engaging conversation designed specifically for nonprofit leaders who want to move beyond reactive AI conversations and begin building a more thoughtful\, values-aligned approach across their organizations. \nWho should attend: Executive directors\, senior leaders\, operations and communications staff\, HR professionals\, program leaders\, and anyone helping shape organizational strategy\, culture\, or technology decisions within a nonprofit organization. \nThis virtual session is free and open to the public.
