Sarah Beckmann serves as the Program Specialist on the AmeriCorps VISTA team, managing recruitment for the OneStar AmeriCorps VISTA Project. Sarah has completed two AmeriCorps terms in Austin as an AmeriCorps Access Coach at College Forward and an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader at Texas Association of Charitable Clinics. Before coming to OneStar, Sarah worked as a Program Manager for College Forward, managing AmeriCorps members to help them grow professionally and serve students during their year of service.
Sarah is originally from Philadelphia, PA, and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Communication before relocating to serve with AmeriCorps. She is deeply passionate about national service and helping connect members with AmeriCorps opportunities statewide. In her free time, Sarah enjoys watching soccer, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her cat, Emerald.
