This Notice is for applicants applying for a 2026-2027 AmeriCorps Texas (AmeriCorps State) grants. These grants are awarded to organizations that propose to place AmeriCorps members in service solely within Texas. Selected organizations will receive grants to support AmeriCorps member positions that engage members in service to meet critical needs in Texas.

Recompete Applicants
AmeriCorps Texas programs administering a 2025-2026 AmeriCorps Texas program through OneStar Foundation that are in the third year of their three-year project period are required to submit a Recompete application to apply for a new three-year project period. The Notice and Application Instructions apply to both competitive and formula funding consideration.
Continuation Applicants
AmeriCorps Texas programs administering a 2025-2026 AmeriCorps Texas program through OneStar Foundation that are in the first or second year of their three-year project period are required to submit a Continuation application in order to continue operation for 2026-2027. The Notice and Application Instructions apply to both competitive and formula continuation grantees.
New Applicants
Organizations that are not currently administering an AmeriCorps Texas program through OneStar Foundation are considered New Applicants. New Applicants are only eligible to apply for Formula funding.

Application Instructions
Application materials and instructions are made available from documents provided by AmeriCorps. If AmeriCorps makes any updates to their materials OneStar documents will also be updated and reposted with the date that the update was made.
Formula Application Materials
APPLICATION SUBMISSION PROCESS CHANGE: In response to a change in access to our previous grant platform, eGrants, OneStar updated the Notice of Funding Opportunity and Application Instructions on March 13, 2026. Formula grant applications will now be submitted through the link below, and no longer submitted through eGrants. Required additional documents will be uploaded as part of the new online grant application instead of submitted via email.
