The Imagine Art AmeriCorps Program proposes to have 20 FT AmeriCorps members who will serve in direct service roles supporting job readiness for artists with disabilities in Austin, Texas. At the end of the program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for increasing knowledge, skills and opportunities that impact job readiness and employment outcomes for 50 artists with disabilities. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage 45 volunteers who will be engaged in supporting member activities. This program will focus on the AmeriCorps focus area of Economic Development. The AmeriCorps investment of $459,990 will be matched with $197,112, $85,000 in public funding and $112,112 in private funding.
