SERVE HOUSTON, a program of Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston will have 53 AmeriCorps members who will serve seniors, children, people with disabilities, veterans, refugees, and other vulnerable groups at 10 nonprofits serving these populations in the Greater Houston region. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for increasing access to food and healthy living resources among underserved populations. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage 50 volunteers who will be engaged in supporting and implementing selected activities at project sites.
