AmeriCorps programs are responsible for recruiting AmeriCorps members for their individual programs. OneStar is requesting bids for a Recruitment Consultant to provide one-on-one coaching to AmeriCorps Texas programs, as well as lead an AmeriCorps Recruitment Institute.
This coaching and training are centered on providing hands-on resources for AmeriCorps programs to strengthen their recruitment strategies with a focus on recruitment from the local community to increase the number of young people serving as AmeriCorps members whose race and income reflect the communities being served. AmeriCorps member recruitment training and coaching services are needed from approximately December 2021 – August 2022.
The deadline for proposal submission is Thursday, October 28, 2021. The deadline for proposal submission has been extended to Thursday, November 4, 2021. Bids should not exceed $70,000 and should include options for possible cost savings.
The purpose of the AmeriCorps Community Review is to identify the highest-quality applications based on the selection criteria provided in the Application Instructions. Your participation as a Reviewer directly influences the selection of AmeriCorps programs and shapes the future of National Service in Texas.
As a Community Reviewer, you will utilize an electronic scorecard to rate and comment on the applications you review. Reviewers will also commit to participate on a conference call with their review committee to discuss the reviewed applications.
