Creating Video Content

Thu, Jun 11, 2026 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm CDT

Video is imperative in today’s social media and marketing world; and video strategy is the first step. In this class, learn about the history of social media video to today’s Facebook and TikTok world. By examining the past, we can better analyze the present, and most importantly, prepare for the future. From your day-to-day posts to higher end digital marketing, video techniques not only can enhance your feed, but also your long-term ROI.

After analyzing the philosophical points of social media video, we will start to build an actionable plan and learn how to create simple in-house videos. The goal is for you to leave this course equipped with video content strategies that will answer key questions such as how long should your videos be and what do I need to shoot and produce my own social media videos. Go from beginner to practitioner in our Creating Video Content course today! This course is part of the Nonprofit Digital Marketing and Social Media Series.
