Make a Difference Day is a community-wide service initiative that connects volunteers with meaningful opportunities to support nonprofit organizations throughout Collin County.
Eligible nonprofit organizations are invited to submit a service project that can be completed by volunteers on Friday, October 23, and/or Saturday, October 24, 2026.
APPLICATION AND APPROVAL PROCESS
- Complete and submit this project application.
- Volunteer McKinney will review your project for eligibility, safety, feasibility, and volunteer readiness.
- If approved, your organization will receive an acceptance email with instructions for registering the project on the Volunteer McKinney Portal.
- Once the project is registered and published on the Volunteer McKinney Portal, volunteers will be able to view the opportunity and sign up.
Submitting this application does not guarantee project acceptance. Please submit one application for each proposed project.
