Trauma-informed Response for Agencies

Experiencing violence, including sexual assault, adverse childhood experiences, and IPV can have traumatic impacts on survivors. And, as such, those who work with survivors should utilize a trauma informed approach to healing. Whether it is through the counseling process, moving through the criminal justice system, providing a continuum of care, or even working in an indirect role at an agency serving trauma survivors, trauma-informed care and approaches can be utilized on all levels.
This training will dive into the brain and body response to trauma and provide ways that professionals, advocates, and others can implement trauma-informed techniques into their work with survivors.
