College Advising Corps

About the Program

College Advising Corps will have110 AmeriCorps members who will serve as postsecondary education advisers to low-income, first-generation college going, and underrepresented students in 130 underserved high schools across the state of Texas, including Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Rio Grande Valley, and San Antonio. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for increasing the postsecondary enrollment rates among underserved youth at the schools served.
