College Possible Texas will have 62 AmeriCorps members who will provide intensive coaching to economically disadvantaged high school and/or college students in the Austin, Texas area. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for having coached 700 economically disadvantaged students through college exploration, application, and financial aid, with 225 of those students enrolling in postsecondary education, and coaching 1000 students to persist in college, with 55 of those students earning a postsecondary credential.
