Boys & Girls Club of Pharr-San Juan AmeriCorps members serve throughout Hidalgo County promoting healthy futures for children through nutrition education, fitness activities, parent workshops, and community health events. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for providing access to health interventions for 1,000 children and teens to address disproportionate rates of diabetes and childhood obesity in the region.
