ChildFund International USA proposes to have 44 AmeriCorps members (15.71 MSY) who will plan and facilitate “No Pressure Zones” (NPZ) in target communities within 3 school districts in Hidalgo County, TX. At the end of the program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for improving participating students’ social emotional learning skills. In addition, AmeriCorps members will leverage 150 volunteers who will be engaged in supporting our School-based and Mobile NPZs. This program will focus on the AmeriCorps focus area of Education. The AmeriCorps investment of $361,322 will be matched with $156,832, $0 in public funding and $156,832 in private funding.
