CLC, Inc. will have 27 AmeriCorps members who will support Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Community Education and Engagement program staff with classroom activities such as communication skills practice, team building, and role-playing as well as out-of-class mentoring for individuals with disabilities at TCCD Northeast, South, and Southeast campuses. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for helping 40 students improve job readiness skills in preparation for the workforce or post-secondary settings. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage nine volunteers who will be engaged in assisting TCCD program participants and improving student services.
