About the Program

CLC., Inc. will have 27 AmeriCorps members working with Tarrant County College District (TCCD) Community Education and Engagement program staff to assist in delivering interventions/services to individuals with disabilities who need assistance preparing for the workforce or post-secondary settings at TCCD South, Northeast, and Southeast campuses. At the end of the first program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for completing two six-month program cycles complementing and assisting instructors and program participants with program activities. Each member will complete 675 hours of service. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will work with nine volunteers to help assist TCCD program participants. The AmeriCorps investment will be matched with $90,948, $50,000 in public funding, and $40,948 in private funding.
