Collegiate Edu-Nation

About the Program

The Collegiate Edu-nation (CEN) proposes to have 14 AmeriCorps members who will serve in capacity-building roles in support of rural school districts throughout Texas. At the end of the program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for 9 organizations (outcome target) increasing their efficiency, effectiveness, and/or program reach. In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage local community supporters who will be engaged to assist with meeting the desired outcomes of the school districts and their students. This program will focus on the AmeriCorps focus area(s) of rural intermediaries and capacity building. The AmeriCorps investment of $402,741 will be matched with $127,194, $0 in public funding and $127,194 in private funding.
