Communities In Schools of San Antonio proposes to have 62 AmeriCorps members who will provide research-based integrated student supports to students at-risk of dropping out of school in up to 50 high-need Texas public schools in Bexar County. AmeriCorps members will be responsible for students demonstrated improvement in social skills and academic engagement.
