The Campus Compact will have 15 AmeriCorps members who will provide near-peer mentoring and coaching to low-income and minority individuals about the career possibilities and enrollment processes for high impact career programs at Houston Community College. At the end of the first program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for mentoring 1000 individuals and enrolling 250 in post-secondary education at Houston Community College. The AmeriCorps investment will be matched with $197,500.00 in private funding.
