AmeriCorps Texas Grantee Meeting is an annual training event that brings AmeriCorps programs from across the state together to share best practices, connect with one another and OneStar staff, and receive essential training on grant and program management.

Goals:

  • Learn new strategies for growth from a programmatic, member management, and grant administration perspective.
  • Connect with peers in national service and with OneStar staff.
  • Reflect on best practices and collaborate with peers to continue delivering high quality, impactful programs to members and service recipients.

  • Learn new strategies for growth in delivering high quality and impactful programs from a grant administration, change management, and leadership development perspective, among others.
  • Connect with and learn from peers in national service, the broader nonprofit sector, and with OneStar staff.
  • Engage in dialogue around the evolving landscape of unprecedented changes and challenges in our sector and reflect on the journey forward.

The 2025 AmeriCorps Texas Grantee Meeting is offered as an exclusive pre-conference session of the Texas Nonprofit Summit.

Who

AmeriCorps State programs funded by OneStar are required to attend the AmeriCorps Texas Grantee Meeting on an annual basis. It is MANDATORY for the designated Primary Program Contact to attend. If the primary contact is unable to attend and wishes to send substitutes, please email your OneStar Program Officer. Additional representatives from the grantee organization are invited to attend, space permitting. All grantee staff who work with AmeriCorps members are encouraged to attend.

 AmeriCorps National Direct programs operating in Texas are also invited to attend.

Getting There

For navigation purposes, please enter the building address at 2901 Read Granberry Trail, Austin, TX 78758 into your GPS device.

All attendees will have access to free on-site parking at the Commons Conference Center for the duration of the AmeriCorps Texas Grantee Meeting. Registrants will receive a parking permit via email prior to the event that also contains parking instructions and maps. Print the permit and display it on your vehicle’s dashboard. If you do not receive a permit prior to your arrival, enter the conference center and request a permit at the registration table. ADA accessible spaces are located in all parking lots.

The Austin MetroRapid bus stop is located on Exploration Way on the west side of the Commons Building and offers transit daily along a 15-mile route through Austin. For more information, please visit capmetro.org/route803.
